An important note to aspiring talent:

KNOW  WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH!

With the ease of social networking sites and no verification on registration on many of these sites, all too often I see individuals not even affiliated with the industry listing themselves as model managers and agencies. This really annoys me! You should always know who you are dealing with and ask questions!! What are their industry affiliations, credentials, how long in business, can they provide you with "industry" references, etc.?

A legitimate company should have no problem answering these questions for you and at the very least, a legitimate company should be registered with their State Department!  Look them up! 

AM Pittsburgh, LLC is registered as a legal entity with the Pennsylvania Department of State, State Entity ID #3691040, registered as a business with the IRS and has obtained an EIN (Employer Identification Number) as well as recently registered with the Better Business Bureau and will be eligible for membership benefits through the BBB in November of this year.

With so many aspiring models out there unfamiliar with this business it is very easy to allow someone to take advantage of you so please, ask questions, check their business status and always be careful!
